2008 HOLIDAY SHIPPING INFORMATION:

Magnetic Poetry uses UPS as its primary continental U.S. shipping provider. During the holidays, UPS modifies its shipping policies and schedule as outlined below:

UPS Guarantee for Ground Service is not in effect from Dec 1 2008 - Jan 2 2009
UPS Guarantee for 3 Day and 2nd Day service is not in effect from Dec 15 2008 - Jan 2, 2009

Nov 27 Thursday No UPS pickup or delivery.
Nov 28 Friday Air pickup and delivery only.
Dec 23 Tuesday Regular pickup and delivery. Next Day Air packages picked up today will arrive on Wednesday, Dec. 24 & 2nd day air will arrive Friday Dec 26th.
Dec 24 Wednesday Regular delivery, no pickup.
Dec 25 Thursday No UPS pickup or delivery.
Dec 26 Friday Regular pickup and delivery.
Dec 30 Tuesday Regular pickup and delivery.
Dec 31 Wednesday Delivery of air packages only, no pickup.
Jan 1 Thursday No UPS pickup or delivery.
Jan 2 Friday Normal pickup and delivery.

Time in Transit (the time it takes a shipment to get to you) should be calculated on number of business days from the day after the shipment date. Weekend days should not be included in Time in Transit calculation. In addition, Nov 27 and 28, Dec 24, 25, 31 and Jan 1 do not count as transit days for UPS ground deliveries; Nov. 23, Dec. 24 and Dec. 31 can be counted as transit days for air shipments.

Magnetic Poetry is not liable for delays in transit time and does not guarantee delivery times. Please allow for longer than normal delivery times before and during the holidays.

GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION:
Magnetic Poetry uses UPS as its primary continental U.S. shipping provider. Please allow 5 to 14 business days for transit time from date of order placement (do not include Saturday or Sunday in calulation of transit time). Magnetic Poetry is not responsible for delays in transit time and does not guarantee delivery times.

Orders shipped to addresses in Minnesota, USA (where we are located) will be charged applicable sales tax.

Orders to US PO boxes, Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, and Canada are shipped USPS First Class Mail. Please allow extra time for delivery.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION:
Due to the wide variety and complexity of shipping systems used globally, international shipping can be very slow and delivery times are difficult to predict. We thank you in advance for your patience.

European Union* orders are shipped via USPS Air Parcel post. (* EU Countries = Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom). Please allow at least 14 to 28 business days for delivery.

Other international (non-Canada, non-EU) orders are shipped via USPS First Class International Service. Additional shipping charges will be calculated and applied. We will notify you of shipping charges before charging or shipping your order. Please allow up to 12 weeks for delivery.

The speed of delivery will be impacted by time spent in the U.S. Postal Service, in customs clearance and in the postal delivery system of the recipient's country. Magnetic Poetry has no control over these factors. International shipments can be further impacted by inaccurate delivery addresses, customs delays and post office delivery restrictions. Orders affected by these factors generally take at least 8 weeks for delivery; Magnetic Poetry can take no action on these orders during that time. Again, we thank you for your patience.

CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS, DUTIES & TAXES
International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance will be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. These charges vary depending on a country's policies and rates. If in doubt, check with your local post office to determine how much you will be charged to receive your order. Magnetic Poetry does not pay any costs for importation or taxation. Every international shipment has an appropriate customs form securely attached to the exterior of the package. This form declares the actual value and contents of the package and can not be altered to reflect any other value.

Magnetic Poetry is not responsible for packages lost in transit. Most delays with international shipments occur in the local customs office and/or local post office of the destination country. Most of the variability in shipment duration is due to time spent in customs or when a package is awaiting pickup at a post office (and, in the case of surface shipments, awaiting a ship for overseas transport). If you feel your package is late, first check with your local post office and customs office. Magnetic Poetry is not responsible for any costs incurred by the purchaser or recipient of orders due to shipment failure or late delivery.

If you would like to pay extra for insurance and registered mail, items must be sent via Express Mail International. Notify us in the notes section of your order that you would prefer Express Mail International and we will calculate costs and notify you of shipping charges before charging or shipping your order. We will not ship without your final approval of these charges. Insurance and registered mail services are not available in all countries.

Tracking International Shipments: Due to the number of factors beyond our control, we do not currently offer tracking of international shipments as a part of our standard international shipping.

PRIVACY POLICY
The security and protection of our customers' personal information is our top priority. Magnetic Poetry does not sell, rent, or loan any information gathered on our Web site to third parties.
